Rectal Suppositories 50 mg and 100 mg

Composition: Active ingredient: sodium aminodihydrophthalazinedione (Galavit®) 50 mg and 100 mg. Excipients: Witepsol W-35 (fatty acid glycerides), Witepsol H-15.

Form: Rectal suppositories

Indications: As an immunomodulating and anti-inflammatory medicine in the complex therapy of immunodeficiency states: intestinal infections, gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, viral hepatitis, chronic recurrent diseases caused by the herpes virus, diseases caused by papilloma virus, infectious and inflammatory urogenital diseases, purulent inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs, postoperative purulent septic complications, chronic recurrent furunculosis, erysipelas, inflammatory diseases of the oral and throat mucosa, periodontal diseases, and non-specific prevention and treatment of influenza and acute respiratory infections.

Contraindications: Individual intolerance, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Dosage: Rectally. The suppository is released from the contour package and then inserted into the rectum. It is recommended to empty the bowel beforehand. The dose and duration of use depend on the nature, severity, and duration of the disease.

Warnings: Use the medicine according to the indications, method of administration, and doses stated in the instructions. Concomitant use may reduce the course doses of antibiotics.

Age restrictions: Age restrictions depend on the form: suppositories and powder for intramuscular administration from 1 year old, sublingual tablets from 6 years old.

Pregnancy: Contraindicated during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
