Sustagard Arthro

Composition: Glucosamine sulfate, Lidocaine hydrochloride

Form: Concentrate for intramuscular solution preparation (ampoules A and B)

Indications: Primary and secondary osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis, spondyloarthrosis.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to components, heart conduction disorders, acute heart failure, epilepsy history, severe liver and kidney diseases, pregnancy, lactation, under 18 years. High risk with seafood allergy.

Dosage: IM 3 ml (ampoule A + B) 3 times/week for 4–6 weeks. Prepare solution right before injection. Oral glucosamine may be used concurrently if needed.

Side effects: Flatulence, diarrhea, constipation, urticaria, itching, burning at injection site. Possible lidocaine reactions: nausea, dizziness, tongue numbness, drowsiness, allergy, heart conduction issues.

Interactions: Compatible with NSAIDs, paracetamol, corticosteroids. Lidocaine interacts with cimetidine, beta-blockers, antiarrhythmics, TCAs, phenytoin, sedatives, and neuromuscular agents. Alcohol enhances lidocaine depression.

Warnings: Skin sensitivity test required before use. Use with caution in cardiovascular diseases, bronchial asthma, glucose intolerance. Avoid driving and operating machinery during therapy.

Age restrictions: From 18 years

Pregnancy: Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
